Enterprise Manager - Search/Filter - Backup Period is Greyed Out
Hi
We started to use Enterprise Manager to search for files in our File Servers, all jobs with Indexing since a couple of days.
Now when I create the internal documentation I see that after I select the server and under "No Filter" the section for Backup is Greyed out so it is set to "Latest Backup" and I can't change to Backup Period.
Any ideas? Is it because we have not run the jobs with index for a long time or what is it for?
The backup jobs run inceremental with Synthetic Full once a week and also transforms the previous chain to rollbacks.

Re: Enterprise Manager - Search/Filter - Backup Period is Greyed Out
Hi Mats.
Backup Period selection grays out if you have selected a particular restore point in the main form - by default Veeam picks latest backup date when you select a server to restore from.
Hit "X" next to restore point and it will switch to "All restore points" allowing you to set Backup Period filter to suit your needs.
/Cheers!

Re: Enterprise Manager - Search/Filter - Backup Period is Greyed Out
Is there any idea on implementing viewing versions of a file in Enterprise Manager. If I search for a file in ALl Restore Points and that file has been change once every week it would be nice to be able to see the file-history directly in EM?

Enterprise Manager already has such functionality! If you enable search by selecting Backup Period, all versions of found files will be listed in the table for you to choose from.
Each version will have a modification timestamp, location and restore point it is found in.
/Cheers!
