Error restoring objects in SQL replicated database

Hi,

I have a customer with a problem restoring objects in a sql replicated database. When we attempt to restore and schema and data veeam said Unable to attach database, see log for details.

When we enter to the logs we found an error that said: Cannot drop the database xxxxxx because it is being user for replication.

We dont have problems restoring objects from other databases wich are not replicated, what can i do?

We dont open a case yet because we dont now if its a issue with sql configuration or with veeam

Customers version is 9 and case number is 01706097.

We can restore all databases without problem but with one witch is replicated to other sql with sql replication we have the error.

Te sql replication is needed for customers web.

Veeam can do granular restore from sql replicated database?

Please tell us because the reply in the incidence was stop or disable relpication

Veeam B&R can restore objects from a replicated database, but to an alternative location only. So you can either specify another database as restore target or disable replication, if restore to original location is required.

Do you mean restore to an alternate location results in a similar error message?

Have you tried specifying different database name? Do you see similar error message while trying to export data or a different one?

I have the same message in the log with the 3 operations. Cannot drop database xxxxxx because is being used for replication

Then please continue working with support on this, logs need to be investigated.
