ESXi 7.0.3 support under Veeam B&R 11 (running latest patch)
Hi,
I've just relized while patching ESXi hosts to 7.0.2d that my baseline captured the latest upate from yesterday which is 7.0.3.
Should I chance it?
Or should I roll back or just become an early adopter/teter of 7.0.3 and V11?
I see his in the relased notes of the latest V11 Patch. Not sure what to make of it. I undersand 7.0.3 is only out a day:
VMware vSphere 7.0 U3 readiness based on the pre-release build. The official support will require full regression testing of the GA build when it becomes available. This article will be updated with a support statement afterwards.

100% not if you're using v11, if you've gone to v11a then there's "readiness" based on a pre-release build, but Veeam haven't confirmed support yet and couldn't start to do so until VMware released the GA version of 7.0.3 which only happened yesterday.
Release notes for v11a here if you wanna read: https://www.veeam.com/kb4215
I personally wouldn't if it's a production environment.

The key question, @AVavav, is does it still work following your updates?

@phil time will tell.
I intend to leave one non critical VM on the two hosts upgraded over the weekend to see how it goes.
For the common good an dto satisfy my own curiosity

Doesn't seem to me to run slower. I Obviouslly only have a few Test VMs that reside on the ESXi 7.0.3 hosts out of a bigger job running onESXi 7.0.2b hosts.
All going well, I might start upgrading a few more hosts and move more VMs to them in the coming weeks as I've encountered no issues thus far.
