If ESX'i password changed backup jobs give this warning. Not error.
"Nothing to process. All VMs were excluded from task list."
Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5.0.1038
Correct me if i'm wrong, i think Veeam should give the password or certificate "error" instead of this. This may be cause misunderstanding.
I can open case but every customer live this issue if password changed.
Hi, we recently changed the root password of one ESXi Hypervisor and forgot to also change it in Backup & Replication. The Backup job had only the status WARNING with messages like "%servername% is no longer processed by this job. Make sure this change is intentional." For some days these warnings we accidentally ignored (which was of course our fault) but in this case the status ERROR would be more appropriate, or not? Thanks! Nico
I would expect to see a different message in case of wrong credentials. How do you populate the backup jobs - do you point them to ESXi host directly or add VMs via vCenter Server?
