I have Veeam B&R 9.0.0.1491 and a scale-out repository consisting of extents A and B. What I would like to do is move all the backup files that are currently on B to a new extent, C. While doing this I want to avoid writing anything to A.
My plan is to add extent C to the scale-out repository, put A and B into maintenance mode, then evacuate files from B.
The question is will the fact that A is in maintenance mode stop Veeam B&R from writing the files to A so that they all end up on C?
Thanks

Re: Evacuating files from scale-out repository extent
Hello Keith and welcome to the community!
Yes, if you put extent A into maintenance mode, backup files will not be copied there.
Thanks!
