Exchange 2013 backup size
We are running the latest version of Veeam, using the Exchange backup feature. What is puzzling is, our Exchange backups are huge; around 595GB, while our total size of all Exchange databases is 300GB. I am wondering why the backup is almost double the size of the Exchange data.

The reason is that Veeam backups the entire virtual disk images, not just Exchange database files. What is the total size of your VMDKs?
