We recently deployed a new Exchange 2010 environment in our organization and are using Veeam for application-aware Exchange backups. Now that the backup is in place and working as expected, our Exchange admin has asked what the process for restoring a complete Exchange database, rather than user mailboxes or individual message items.
When right-clicking a database object in the Veeam Explorer for Exchange I see an option called "Restore to" but this is ghosted and is not clickable. Is this our option for restoring the complete database directly back into Exchange (rather then export to PST)? If so why is this option ghosted and how do I make it available for testing.
Thank you,
Matt

Re: Exchange database "Restore to" option ghosted
Hi Matt, the entire database can be restored via file-level restore option. Veeam Explorer for Exchange provides item-level restores.
