Explorer for Exchange - high memory usage
Hello,
I have a customer that uses Veeam to restore exchange 2010 items.
the veeam explorer for exchange is used.
Funny thing is that when doing a restore from a large mailbox, ram usage of the virtual veeam backup server is maxed out. allmost all available virtual memory is used. but then when explorer for exchange is closed, the ram usage stays the same.
The veeam backup server has 8GB of ram.
A datadomain DD640 with extra 1TB shelve is uses as repository and a 10gig network infrastrukture.
anyone else seen this behavior?
Is this the way its meant to be??

I can't seem to find the patch 3 on your website. Only patch 1. which raises the build from 106 og 109 to 128. The customer already has patch 1 installed and is running build 128.
Can you please guide me in the right direction??

Probably there has been some misunderstanding, the patch is available through support. I've just checked this, you will be provided with the patch bits shortly.

Please define shortly.
I might contact support if shortly is more than a few days.
Not to rush you or anything, just want to keep the customer happy

Re: Explorer for Exchange - high memory usage
Support had Patch #3 since Monday, and was providing it to customers since Monday as well. I am planning to update the sticky topic about patches later this week, basically just giving the patch a few days of limited distribution first before going big (as a precaution).
