FAILBACK TO Production from failover

Post by Lock »

Hi Team

I am currently running a replica VM on my DR or disaster recovery site. Its in failover mode and would
like to do a full backup on the replica VM before doing a failback to production.
The replica VM has about 7 snapshots on it. Should i delete those snapshots before doing a backup and
failback?

Please advise the best way or best practices to do the full backup n the replica VM and failback to production.

You should be able to back up failovered replica machine, no need to remove existing snapshots. And I think VeeamZIP is the best option here.

Thanks!
