[Linux VM] Failed to upload index Summary

Post by christianp »

Amongst a couple others (which are working fine) i get the following warning on one of my Linux VM's:

31-3-2017 22:05:06 :: Failed to index guest file system. Failed to upload index summary

Created a root user according to manual and all is working fine for accessing the VM for the users. https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95

Strange thing it is not happening always.

Do you have the required package mlocate installed which we leverage? If so please open a support case for further inspection to see where it goes wrong.

I haven't checked if that package is installed, don't know if it is by default (VM is runnign 16.04 LTS Ubuntu). This night all was good with the Jobs. I'll monitor it and if it fails again i create a case.

It should be installed by default so I am guessing there is a network time-out when we gather the info but it's best to contact support for deeper inspection.
