Hi,
I'm using v6.1.0.181 (32bit) and have replicas of all of my VmWare VM's. The replicas window says status "Ready" on all of the VM's. When I click "Failover now" on a VM, select Next, enter a restore reason, click next and click next at the summary window I get a "Backup & Replication" dialog that says "Access denied" and give me an OK button. I'm doing this on the same machine that created the replicas. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve Ferrandino

Re: Failover to replica "access denied"
Did you re-add an esxi machine or a vcenter server? did you delete an esxi machine and then re-added it to veeam and eventually provided false credentials? anyways, please open a support ticket with veeam, this has to be examined carefully.
Best regards,
Joerg

Re: Failover to replica "access denied"
Hi Joerg,
Well, I got the failover to work. Something got hosed on Saturday (not sure what) but I did a "repair" install and was able to replicate and failover. Looks like it might have been a SQL server issue. I'm seeing some "Failed to retrieve updated or changed rows from the table ReportSessionView" messages when a replication is running and it holds up the job. Any ideas on that one or should I just open a ticket?
Thanks,
Steve Ferrandino

Hi Steve,
I have some ideas but i suggest to open a case with veeam, just to be 100% sure everything is OK.
Best regards,
Joerg
