Feature Request - Job Status Success/Warning

Post by mma »

Hello Veeam

Situation:
I have a job with multiple VMs.
Two VMs have a warning because of not working Log truncation, two other VMs have VSS issues and the job fails.
Veeam does a retry after 10min, the two VMs which had an error before are backed up.
Job status is now set to "Success" instead of warning because of the truncation failure.

Can this be changed?

[edit]Version is 9.0.0.1715[/edit]

Thanks
Marcel

Hello Marcel,
That sounds interesting. Let me double-check the behavior with QA team.
Thanks

Hi Marcel,
The behavior is confirmed as expected.
Could you specify if the notification subject contains word Warning and if the warning itself is shown inside the email?
Thanks!

Hello

Yes, there is a warning inside the notification email.

But there are scripts checking the latest job status in Veeam.
They tell me "Nothing to worry about, all green. Get yourself a coffee and lay back".

Any possibility this could be changed? :-)

Regards
Marcel
