Feature request: SureReplica for storage array-based replica

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is on the roadmap, but it would be great to see SureReplica working with the replication technology embedded in enterprise storage arrays. For a lot of our enterprise customers array-based synchronous replication is a requirement.

Hi Dmitri.

I'm thinking of something similar. What I was thinking of would use the same sort of process but would use a schedule to create a Virtual Lab using a snapshot, either on the primary site or a replicated snapshot on the DR side (Nimble/ONTAP), run the same sort of tests as SureBackup, and then send a success/failure report via email.
