Hello, We have Backup 9.5 for our Vmware Infrastructure and licensed with VEEAM Backup & Replication.
We also have a VDI Cluster that is not licensed for VEEAM as we dont have need to backup VDI Desktops.
Back in the day I use to VEEAM free utility called Veeam FastSCP for copying files between vmware clusters, now this is just part of Veeam backup under Files.
I created File Copy Jobs for copying VDI Master images to a repository as a precaution.
Now my VDI master images are under my Vmware Hosts in the VDI cluster, so not licensed with Veeam Backup and Replication.
Im going on the assumption that the File Copy Job is part of the old Veeam FastSCP and free to use.
Am i wrong and am i breaking any licensing agreement?
Thanks
Mike

Re: File Copy Jobs do I need a License
Hello Mike,
As far as I remember File copy job indeed is available in free edition.
And if you have something working in free edition, you don't break the license agreement.
Thanks!
