All,
I hope all is well.
We have just introduced VEEAM protected services across a new remote site and would appreciate some insight. Our backup server is on site A and we have a new repository and protected servers on Site B across the WAN.
If we wish to instantiate a File Level Restore and do this on the backup server in site A will we be mounting (moving data) over the WAN to select files for restore (it's a sizeable volume!). If we restore is this then mounted on site B to perform the actual file recovery?
Sorry if it's a stupid question but would rather ask first!
Regards,
Simon

Re: File Level Restore - WAN
Hi Simon,
You can deploy Mount Server in the site B and associate repository located there with it, so when you initiate FLR the backup file will be mounted locally on the Mount server. Thanks!
