Hy!
I create a privileged user to backup my vCenter infrastructure. I followed this site: https://www.veeam.com/blog/vcenter-leas ... model.html
And I also followed this guide: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
The backup is successfully with Windows VM. When I would like to restore guest file, I got the following error, when I select this privileged user during the restore in credentials window:
The supplied credentials are invalid. Failed to connect to guest agent. Errors:
'Cannot connect to the host's administrative share. Host: [test.domain.hu]. Account: [veeam@vsphere.local].
Win32 error: The user name or password incorrect.
Code: 1326
'Cannot connect to the host's administrative share. Host: [10.10.10.120]. Account: [veeam@vsphere.local].
Win32 error: The user name or password incorrect.
Code: 1326
What kind of account should I select? Is it the created privilegized account or a Windows crednetial which can log in to restoring Windows?
Thanks.

Re: File-level restore with privileged user
Hello adam900331,
Make sure that this user account can connect to the machines admin share via Windows explorer. From the error text it looks like it cannot, thus the file upload during the recovery fails and file cannot be restored. Thank you!

Re: File-level restore with privileged user
Hi Adam,
It seem you try login using vcenter login user, you must provide valid windows credential (local/domain user) to perform File Level Restore.
Thanks
