Hi All,
I recently joined a company that has under 10 servers.
I'd like to use veeam as we had it at my last place.
I read in the documents that the community edition does have snapshot backups. Does this mean I can't backup the servers while they are on?
I don't really understand what this means. My understanding is veeam makes a snapshot then copies that file. So does that mean the free version is offline Only?

Re: Free limitations
Not sure where you are reading this, but it does not make much sense to me...
In any case, don't bother looking for limitations, as there are none: Community Edition is fully functional as far as all core backup and restore needs, and is practically identical to the Standard Edition (our most basic paid offering) as far as the available features.
But I do hope you become our customer again, as it would be just $400/yr for the fully featured version for your environment... it's quite hard to imagine a company which can't afford that
Thanks!
