Hi
Our prospect customer have question about restore.
If we do VM restore as Restore to original location, does the destination data store require sufficient free VM capacity ?
Since the restore as Restore to original location is performed after deletion of existing VMs, the capacity of the existing VM is released and we believe that even if there is no separate free space, we can restore it.
Regards
Toshi

Re: Free space required for restore destination data store
Hi,
No, you can perform restore operation to the original location even if you've no enough free space on the storage, since the VM will be deleted before the process. Thanks!
