Hello,
we encountered an Issue with the "restore entire VM..." functionality.
Each time we try to restore an VM from backup or copy to a different location (same host, same datastore but new vm name) the user we created in vcenter for veeam manages to create new vm folder and .vmxf, .vmx, .vmsd and .nvram in it. But as veeam tries to create the .vmdk files the restore fails with the message "failed to set storage profile <xxx> to vm ..."
What exact rights (roles) do the veeam account need to set the storage profile?
Thanks and best regards
