Guest File Restore Error
A customer is running V9 B & R U1.
I am trying to perform a restore using the Guest Files (Windows) option.
I am able to browse the server and select the file for restore.
I select the file, click Overwrite then an error appears.
Invalid URl: The hostname could not be parsed.
This happens to all files on all VMs.
It is running on vSphere 5.1.
I am able to copy it out using that option.
I have opened Case 01764227.
Any suggestions in the meantime?
Thanks.

Re: Guest File Restore Error
I have used the same password in a lab environment but writing to vSphere 6 with no issues.
I will await a response from support.
Thanks.

Re: Guest File Restore Error
There were several issues the OP run into. Different actions were taken by support engineer including db modification and adding VB&R server as a managed server (localhost) and choosing it as a mount server afterwards.
Those steps are not necessarily applicable to your scenario. Thus, you'd better open your own case.
Thanks.
