Hello everyone,
I have a question about a Veeam Replication use case.
I have two physical servers.
The first one is on the A site with the Veeam B&R on it.
The second one is on the B remote office site with the Veeam B&R proxy.
On the A & B sites, there is 2 ESXi with SAN.
These 2 physical servers get local storage.
This is the use case :
I'm replicating the A site virtual machines on the B by using Veeam Server (Source and Target)
In the Guest Interaction proxy, what must I choose because Veeam automatically choose both.
The replica job is running fine but sometime I get this error :
13/04/2016 XX:XX:XX :: Error: Error code: 0x800706ba
Failed to invoke func [RegisterIndexJob]: The RPC server is unavailable.. RPC function call failed. Function name: [BlobCall]. Target machine: [192.168.XX.X].
RPC error:The RPC server is unavailable.
Code: 1722
Error code: 0x800706ba
Failed to invoke func [RegisterIndexJob]: The RPC server is unavailable.. RPC function call failed. Function name: [BlobCall]. Target machine: [192.168.X.X].
RPC error:The RPC server is unavailable.
Code: 1722
This is why, for best practice purpose, I'm asking this.
Thank you

Re: Guest Interaction Proxy in Replica
Benjamin, please don't confuse proxy servers used for actual data retrieval from the source storage with guest interaction proxy servers. Basically, automatic selection should work for both. I recommend opening a case regarding the error you're seeing.
