Hard disk 2 (5.0 GB) 0.0 KB read at 0 KB/s [00666177]
Random jobs, random vm's, same issue. On occasion we get disks that just sit at this step for ages (until the job is killed). I need to know what's causing this.
S-VEA-PRO-APP-9 is a VM at the production site.
S-VEA-DR-APP-8 is a VM at the DR/replication site.
Both sites are connected via 10G Ethernet and are separated by a parking lot (so we know communication between buildings is good).
Any thoughts?

The exact operation the job is stuck on should be clear from logs, so let's see what our engineers could say after reviewing them.

Nothing came of the log upload.
Tech support suggested that we change our DR proxies to Network mode instead of using HotAdd there.
So now we have our PROD proxies using HotAdd retrieving data which then pass that data over to our DR proxies which use NBD to write the data.
I will know later if this fixes things up.

Have they said why hot add mode made replication jobs stuck? Thanks.

No, very disappointing. The case is still open. Open since 10-28. I haven't heard jack about anything found in the logs on any of the logs I've uploaded.v.Eremin wrote:Have they said why hot add mode made replication jobs stuck? Thanks.

Please be aware that you can escalate your case if you do not like how your ticket is treated by your current technical engineer.
