Health of HP D2600 Storage connected directly to VMWARE

Post by animesh.jain »

Hello All,

I have a HP D2600 20TB storage using for DR and it is connected to my VMWARE server. How I can get health of my storage. If any of the drive (12 bays) failes then how I can know? Is there any way I can run Array Configuration Utility (ACU) for D2600 storage?

Please suggest.

Take a look at free version of Veeam ONE (part of Veeam Availability Suite) that monitors hardware sensors of the hosts and storage, should help.

Vitaliy,

Thanks for quick response. Presently i am using Veeam Backup and Replication. So, do i have to install Veeam ONE on top of that? How that will work?

You can install it on top of your Veeam B&R installation or in any spare server. Once you deploy Veeam ONE, just add the same servers (vCenter Server/ESXi hosts) you have in Veeam B&R, then add Veeam B&R server to Veeam ONE console and start monitoring/reporting on your virtual and backup infrastructures.
