Hi,
I'm transition from Veeam 5 to Veeam 6 with a new setup. Veeam installed on new VM 64bit, Enterprise 2vCPU 4 Core each and 6 GB Memory. Veeam VM has a Backup Target using iSCSI Initiator.
How Backup Proxy will be placed? is there any design tutorial or guide line? Is there any special installation/configuration for the Backup Proxy?
Thanks,

Re: How can I build Backup Proxy for Veeam 6?
Hussain, you already have a default backup proxy on your Veeam B&R server. Whether you need more proxies or not depends on the backup load you are going to handle and many other factors, which you haven't described in your post. Btw, overall product architecture is pretty well described in the user guide and in the sticky FAQ topic, please review and if you still have any questions, feel free to ask here. Thanks.

Re: How can I build Backup Proxy for Veeam 6?
Hi,
Thanks, I have configured the default proxy and in each job I have selected that proxy only. I will look at the user guide as well as FAQ.
Thanks,
Hussain
