How does Backup Copy handle with active full backups

Hello,
I want to realize a Disk to Disk backup with Veeam v7 Backup Copy.
I've read the documentation but one think is still unclear to me.

Our backup jobs are doing a active full backup every month.
Is the "backup copy job" after active full still able to recognize just the changed blocks?
Or will the backup copy job do a full sync after an active full?
