When I first setup veeam server v6 I added my esxi 5 host directly to the infrastructure and then configured my remote backup jobs and got it all running. I then added vcenter to my infrastructure which seems to be a better choice. I would like to remove my host reference but the jobs that backup my vm's are referencing the host. I would like to change the vm source to go through vcenter instead. I edited the job and removed the vm in question and then readded it through the vcenter reference. But rather than backing up an increment, it is doing a full backup of the vm, which is 100gb.
Is there a way to just change the source vm reference from host to vcenter\host?

I do not believe there is an easy way to do that, since technically these are completely different VMs and their ESX moref IDs are already saved in our database and backup files themselves.

I should be able to map a new job with vcenter\host\vm references and mapping it to the old backup...correct? Without doing a full backup?

Yes, that has completely slipped my mind: VM moved to new vCenter
