How to configure multiple VMs backup

Hi,
I had created a backup job for 10 VMs and configured all resources to execute all VMs backup at same time, but every time I run the job it only process 4 VMs at same time.
What are the variables to determine how many VMs at same time will be processed?

Hi Rafael, please check the concurrent tasks limits on proxy and repository servers.

I changed the default configurantion and my proxy server is configured to 10 concorrent tasks, and repository server limit maxximum concurrent tasks to 10 tasks, and the problem persists.

Then it might be the datastore snapshots limit.

Do you mean you've tried to raise the limit with the help of the registry value but it didn't affect anything? I suggest letting support to review your setup more closely.

How many disks do each VM have attached? A concurrent task works on a single VMDK at a time, not a single VM, so if your 10 VMs have 2 disks each, then 10 concurrent tasks could only do half the VMs to begin with.
