Hi all,
during a group policy object restore, is possible to see all the configuration that the restore will set? Exporting ldf file doesn't help, it does not contain specific configuration of that policy.
For example, my current gpo has the parameter Administrative Templates/System/Windows Time Service/Providers/NtpServer set to ntp.example.com.
If I restore the gpo, can I see somewhere before restoring that the value for that setting in the backup version is ntp.aaaaaaaaaaa.com?
Thanks!

Re: How to know a specific settings of group policy object before restoring
Hi KK,
That's an interesting one, and I think there is no way, as of today, to look into the GPO contents.
Only workaround I see is to use some test LDAP server and push an object there first via Restore to...
Noted the improvement idea.
/Thanks!
