Hi again,
in my eyes you should be able to assign your user the access rights as needed in addition to the ones you already have!?
Thanks

is that with the built-in Veeam DB that comes with the installation or an external SQL Server?

Re: How to move only the Veeam Enterprise Manager SQL Database to another Server
It is the Build in SQL .
Yesterday i move the Veeam B&R Database to another SQL Server without any Problems over the dbconfig Tool . For this i dont need to logon in SQL Express himself .
But now for moving the SQL Database from Veeam Enterprise Manager i need to login in Management Studio and take there an Backup of the VeeamBackupReporting Database .

Hi ,
No chance . Because of missing Username or Password .
Is Veeam Enterprise Manager asking for an User for installing the SQL Database ?
I think i have to uninstall and reinstall the Enterprise Manager .

I would recommend to open a case at our support to make sure everything is done right.
Feel free to share the case ID here as well.

Re: How to move only the Veeam Enterprise Manager SQL Database to another Server
Yes that screenshot looks much more what I would have expected.
Seems that the "old" one got cleaned and secured at some point from someone.
I guess you mean reinstalling it as a "fresh" installation without keeping any information of the current Enterprise manager.
First thing is to remember where the licensing was done as it may be the case that your Enterprise Manger was the central license point.
Of course, re-installing means you will loose all settings and history data of the EM as well.
What I would maybe do is to split the EM from the current server completely (so no re-installation on the current machine) and make it a own machine.
If you re-install on the same machine I doubt you will be succesfull as the registry Keys and install pathes etc may get you in an unstable state.
That said it is hard in the forum to give to definitive answers as I don't know the whole environment and all dependencies you may have, so no warranties from my side.
that's why I said a ticket could be good as well so you have the support team having a look.
