Immutability and retention

Hello Guys,

Just to be sure to have the good understanding about the retention to apply to my job with a linux reposity with immutability enabled.

In my backup job I have set a retention of 28 points with archival for 6 month.

The GFS point will be protecte by immutability during 6month right?

The best configuration should be to have the same value for the retention in the backup job and in the repository?

Correct, this way both short-term and long-term restore points will be immutable.
