In Veeam 7.0, would the replica have the same UUID and Mac address after replication?

Charles, if you are talking about VM moRef ID, then replica VM receives a different one since it is a unique ID assigned to VM on registering it in VI and it is not possible to have two VMs in the infrastructure with the same moref ID.

Regarding MAC address, replication itself preserves the original MAC, however it is automatically changed by vSphere almost immediately.

Hi Charles,

And if you are asking about VM UUID, then as far as I remember this one is preserved > Changing UUID on restore

Thanks!
