Increase disk in source, failed replica task: "VM disk size

Post by Yomismo »

Hello,

I have read a lot about: VM disk size changed since last sync, deleting all restore points

We extend from 50 to 80 GB a disk in local (source), we have a replica for that virtual machine and started to failed. The point is that in the target site the disk still remains with 50GB (not 80GB), we have snapshots but obviously is not consistent and realiable, how can i proceed?, new task again with full?, because if i do a remap the virtual machine in the target site is still with the 50GB disk...

We have veeam 8 patch 1 version.

thanks

VB&R version 8 should condone resizing source replica disks by merging existing snapshots and making corresponding changes on replica VMs. If that doesn't happen, please, open a ticket with our support team and provide case number here for the convenience of future readers. Thanks.

If you exclude it from the job and from VM configuration (via job wizard), then replication job should not merge snapshots for the replica VM.
