Hi teams,
we are going to migrate our repositories under windows to linux
Under Windows, the partition where the backups are stored is formated in ReFS , so we take advantage of Fast cloning and space reduction.
Do you have an idea of the increase in the volume of backups following the switch to linux?
Regards

Re: Increase space to switch to Linux repo
Hi Agmavarok
You would need the entire space. Meaning, each vbk takes storage for their entire size. If you have 12x VBKs, and each has a size of 10TB, you will need 120TB after the migration for this files.
If you can wait for V12, you can move them FastClone aware. Space savings would be the same after the migration.
Thanks
Fabian
