instant recovery 7
hello
i want to make instant recovery for a vm in esx 5.when ido this it gives an error.i cant mount it.what should i do in esx?
the vmkernel port in esx at the same subnet thatveeam server is running is mgmt port.should i make another one?

mount host is not specified for backuprepository backuprepository 2.

As mentioned, you don’t have to do anything with ESX(i) server. Instead, can you confirm that “Enable vPower NFS Server” box is ticked in the settings of given backup repository? Thanks.

Yep, during instant VM recovery backup server mounts a VM image to ESX(i) host directly from a backup file, using vPower technology. Therefore, you hadn’t been able to utilize it, till the moment vPower NFS server was enabled in the settings of backup repository.
