It's impossible to permanent revoke license for hosts from licence menu (licensed workloads)

Post by skycheg »

Support case # 05166830

Vcenter 7.0, ESXi hosts v.6.7
Veeam B&R v.11
After update B&R from v.9u3 to v.11 and installing new licensed file (lic) It's impossible to permanent revoke license for particular hosts from licence menu (licensed workloads).
After revoking (removing hosts) from licensed workload menu they reappear after a few hours.
If I don't this my jobs finished with error: Unable to process the VM: your socket license has been exceeded. Install an extended license, or migrate protected VMs to the licensed hosts.
This "hosts-ghosts" does not exist in my infrastructure. This IPs are used nowhere. No of jobs and VM's are used this IPs in settings. But Veeam somehow detects them.

Definitely unexpected, so keep working with the support team, chances are there are obsolete references in the database that need to be manually edited by the support engineer. Thanks!
