Job Backup with a long delay
A backup of a 200gb VM takes 24 hours to finish and another almost 12 hours to delete the snapshot in VMware. Anyone could know where to start the analysis of the problem?

Re: Job Backup with a long delay
Hello,
I'm pretty sure that if you create a snapshot for the VM manually in vSphere client and keep it for 24 hours, deletion will also take 12 hours. Backup application plays a role of the requestor while snapshot creation or deletion process in managed by the hypervisor.
I'd start the investigation of the problem by looking for a "bottleneck", you can see it in job statistics view. Also, if you expect lower job duration, then it makes sense to ask our support engineers to check debug logs, perhaps they would be able to find some performance-related traces there.
Thanks!
