Job Chaining and Automatic Retry

If I chain jobs, will the automatic retry work on the jobs that are chained off of the primary? Automatic retry seems to only be working on the primary job. The automatic retry options are available to me on the primary job (which is scheduled). In all subsequent jobs in the chain, the automatic retry section is grayed out.

Exactly. Automatic retries are only available if you enable the jobs to run automatically, otherwise all operations are manual only.
On a separate note, chaining the jobs is not a correct way to achieve the desired concurrency and order in v6 and later anyway...
