Hi,
if a customer has two Hosts with 1 cpu each licensed with one Essentials Enterprise License managed by Enterprise Manager and would also like to use a dedicated third Host (older machine with limited CPU/Memory capacity) for Virtual Lab / Sure Backup Purpose only. Does the customer need an additional Essentials Enterprise License?
Thanks in Advance!

Re: License Requirements for Virtual Lab ESXi Host
Hi Bitformer, welcome to the Veeam Forums. Generally speaking, licenses are consumed when the Veeam primary data mover happens (like a backup from, a replica from, etc.). Restores to do not count. Running a Data Lab would not be a consumption like a backup, replica, etc. Here is also some additional licensing info for consideration if instance licensing is used: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4
