Maintenance tasks on backup files

Hi,

I have backup jobs running daily with forever incremental backup configuration. No synthetic full backup.

I wanted to test Defragment and compact full backup file option.
I enabled this option to run on a specific day of the week and then I started the job manually.

The job was executed successfully but without being defragmented and compacted.
Nothing is displayed in job statistics.

Any idea of what could be wrong?

PS: I have tested Health check in the same way and it works fine.

Both are running on the first job of the day. So maybe there was already a job run at this day?
As well the start time of a job defines what is processed.

@ssandoz I would check the limitations for full backup file compact listed on this page of our help center. Probably, you don't have enough space on the backup repository or you did a full backup during your test? If you don't find a cause of this behavior in the mentioned list, then I'd recommend to raise a support request and to paste a support case ID over here.
