Hello,
I want to merge 2 backup jobs (one with 40 VMs and one with 20 VMs) in one backup job, we use the same scaleout repository (per-VM with catalyst on HPE Storeonce) for both.
If i add the 20 Vms of the second backup job in the first backup job containing the 40 VMs, will Veeam detect automatically the existing backup file of these 20 "new" VMs and avoid to full backup for the next backup cycle ?
Thanks for your comment

Re: Merging 2 backup jobs
Hey Daniel,
Nope, it will create 20 new per-VM chains for these added VMs.
There is no way to re-map the previously created per-VM chains. Thanks!
