Servus Community,
we are planning to upgrade our Veeam B&R infrastructure from version 9.5 U4 to 11. In a guide for an upgrade it says that from version 9.5 Update 4 it is possible to migrate directly to 11. However, the rest of the guide says that the format of the license file from version 10 is the same as that of version 11. Does this mean that I have to import a new license file first? And does the new license file still fit for version 9.5?
Thx & Bye Tom

Re: Migrate B&R from 9.5 to 11 License File Format
Hi Tom
Just do the upgrade as documented in our guide. If your Veeam Server has access to the internet, then your new license file (V10/V11) will automatically be downloaded and used for the upgrade. If no internet access is available, you can download the new license file from the customer portal (my.veeam.com) and provide it manually within the update process.
Thanks
Fabian
No, that's not required. And would not work. V10/V11 licenses can not be installed on a V9.5 server.Does this mean that I have to import a new license file first?
