Migrate from SQL Express 2008 to 2014

Hi all,

I have to reinstall my veeam backup server.
At this moment my veeam backup server is a windows 2008R2, VeeamV9 use a SQL express 2008.
I have to reinstall my server on a windows 2012R2 and for application purpose i have to install a SQL express 2014.
So i will use this sql express 2014 for veeam.
I want to know if i can use the configuration backup from the old veeam backup to the new installed one with the SQL 2014.
Does i have to do some step before launch the configuration backup restore?

Hello,

Since Veeam backup version does not change in your case, you should be able to use configuration backup tool to migrate your DB config as well. Just use these steps from our UG.
