Migrate to scale-out repos

Hello,

I would like to migrate standard Backup Repos to Scale-Out Repos.

Can I simply add the existing Repos to a Scale-Out Repo and keep the data? Do I have to change the backup jobs?

And from a desing perspective. We have backup repos on different locations. I would create a scale-out repo per location. Does that make sense? Any real world experiences?

Hey Andre,

Yes, you can simply add the existing repositories and keep the data. You should change the target in backup job settings to the new SOBR afterwards.
You're right, it's recommended to create SOBR per location.
