Missed Synthetic Full Backup
Hi Guys,
I've had issue on my storage device due to which I had to disable my backup job, which was supposed to run Synthetic Full Backup at night. Is there a way I can trigger Synthetic backup manually or would running Full Backup manually do the same job?
Regards,
Mobin

Re: Missed Synthetic Full Backup
Hi, Mobin. You should temporarily schedule the synthetic full backup for today in the job settings, and run the job. "Running Full Backup" will perform active, not synthetic full. Thanks!

Re: Missed Synthetic Full Backup
Hi Gostev,
Many thanks for the quick reply. I've temporarily scheduled synthetic full backup for today. I'm assuming I can change it back to Saturday once backup job is complete, so it backups Sunday backup jobs as per previous schedule.

Re: Missed Synthetic Full Backup
Should the issue happen again, you would be able perform the described procedure in automatic fashion, using this scrip, instead of doing everything manually. Thanks.
