mount proxy vpower nfs on esxi
I'm trying to add a vmware datastore that sits on a windows 2008r2 machines that's also a veeam backup repository - so it's running vpower. I see directions for mounting veeam nfs shares but can't figure out how to do this for a proxy machine running vpower.

Hi Aaron,
So yo have both proxy and repository on the same machine, right? Have you followed these instructions > How to use Veeam vPower NFS server?
Thanks!

Right, proxy and repository on same machine. I did follow that, well sort of. Instead of using veeamserver I used the fqdn of the actual proxy/repository machine. Does it have to connect through the actual veeam server?Vitaliy S. wrote:Hi Aaron,

Did you have any error message when following this procedure and specifying repository hostname?

It should be the NetBIOS name of your repository server.arsprod wrote:Instead of using veeamserver I used the fqdn of the actual proxy/repository machine. Does it have to connect through the actual veeam server?

I'm missing something simple here - I have nfs shares and none were this hard to connect in esxi! Here's the repository set up in veeam:
Here's vsphere:
What am I missing?

Please try the following:
Folder: /VeeamBackup_genizah
Datastore: VeeamBackup_genizah

Then I suggest contacting support so that they could assist you in mounting the datastore via webex session. That would be much more effective.
