Hello,
currently we have a backup server running Server 2012 R2 incl. Veeam B&R v11. The jobs on this backup server pull the data to be backed up from the VMWare environment via SAN and store the backups in a local repository. It is about 30TB of data.
Now we want to migrate to a new backup server with Windows Server 2019/2022 but for now still under VEEAM V11. In addition, the repository should no longer be local, but located in the SAN.
The question now is, how can I transfer the data from the old backup server to the new system / to the SAN? We have the possibility to make the SAN also visible at the old backup server and to create a volume.
Should we proceed here according to kb1729?
Greetings
