Move Veeam Backup Database from another SQL Server to the SQL Express on Veeam Server

Good Morning ,

We have to move the Veeam SQL Database wich resides at the Moment on another SQL Server, back to the SQL Express 2016 on the Veeam Backup Server himself .
What is the right way for doing this ?

You can migrate the database with a configuration backup restore. We have the process documented in our helpcenter.

Is it necessary to create an Backup from the Database on SQL Server and restore it to the new created Database on the SQL Express Server on the Veeam Server ?

No, you don't need to backup the database by yourself.
The content of the database (except File To Tape catalog) will be migrated by the configuration database restore.
