Hi.
I already know Veeam has support DB Backup above MS-SQL 2005 SP4 as described in requirement on the manual.
The problem is that my customer have two MS-SQL 2005 SP2, they cannot update due to several reason.
In that situation, how can we guide proper backup method assuring application-level?
Thanks in advance

Re: MS-SQL 2005 SP2 DB Backup
Hi Yeongil, we haven't tested backup of SQL Server 2005 versions lower than SP4, but I believe SP4 is a requirement for logs backup, so you can still backup this VM and truncate transaction logs. Another possibility is triggering SQL native tools via pre-freeze scripts. Thanks.

Thanks Alexander, I would choice the latter suggestion of your post.
But, I and DBA of customer's don't have any script for DB backup.
Can you teach me the contents of pre-freeze scripts?
