Multiple Proxies, one Replica Metadata destination?

Here's a scenario.

At our productions site, we have a 4 host VMware cluster.

We have four Virtual Machines deployed, each configured as a Veeam Proxy (they will use hotadd) and rules set up in VMware to keep these 4 VM's on separate hosts at all times.

The question is where should the Replica Metadata be kept for jobs that may utilize one our all four Proxies?

Jonathan, the only recommendation is to have this repository closer to the original VMs (in the source site, in case of offsite replication). Basically any backup repository located on the source side (accessible on the source LAN) will work.
