i wonder if someone is able to answer this.
on my host i have some standard vswitches
1 for management
1 for sql
1 for exchange
1 for file
1 for other
i have a backup proxy on the host and the transport mode is setup as Virtual appliance this is connected to "other"
what is the best way to get the optimal backup speed for this? when veeam gets the backup info is this from the nic of the backup proxy or from the management nic?
am i better off adding the backup proxy to the same vswitch as the management port?
thanks for any help

Re: Network config on vshphere for optimal network transfer
In case of virtual appliance processing mode (aka Hot Add), it's going to be from the NIC of the backup proxy.
